Privacy policy

Last updated · 2026-09-12

Short version

Your files are never uploaded. We do not ask for accounts, names or email addresses. The only data we keep is aggregate traffic counting, and advertising cookies that you can decline.

1. Files you process

All conversions and edits happen locally in your browser. Files are read with the standard browser file APIs and are never transmitted to us or to any third party. Closing the tab discards everything.

2. Analytics (our own, no third-party scripts)

We count page views with a small script on our own server. For each page view we store: the page path, the date, the interface language, and a one-way hash (SHA‑1 with a site-specific salt) of your IP address and browser user-agent string. We do not store your raw IP address or raw user-agent, and the hash cannot be used to identify you. Robot and monitoring traffic is filtered out. The purpose is limited to knowing which tools are used and how many people visit.

Third-party analytics. Besides the counting above, this site loads: other analytics or session tools configured by the site operator. Providers such as Google may receive your IP address and the pages you visit. If you choose “Essential only” in the banner, the scripts that require consent will not load.

3. Cookies and local storage

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

4. Third-party advertising

We use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, consent is requested before advertising cookies are set.

5. Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data that identifies you, there is normally nothing to export or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, contact us and we will look into it. You may also have rights under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, objection) and under California law (CCPA/CPRA: no sale of personal information — we do not sell any).

6. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
