PNG to JPG in one step

JPG (JPEG) is the most widely accepted photo format — every camera, phone, printer, upload form and old piece of software reads it. This tool converts PNG images to JPG directly in your browser.

Transparency becomes white

JPG has no alpha channel, so any transparent pixels are flattened onto white by default. That is exactly what you want for printing, email attachments, Word/PowerPoint documents and social uploads, where transparent PNGs would otherwise show up as a black box.

Practical reasons to convert

How to use

1. Drop your PNG files (batch works).

2. Adjust quality if needed — 0.90 is a safe default, lower it to 0.75–0.85 for smaller files.

3. Download each JPG. Sizes are shown before and after.

Notes

FAQ

What happens to transparency?

It is flattened onto white, because the JPEG format cannot store an alpha channel.

Can I keep the transparent background?

Then stay with PNG, or use WebP which supports transparency and is smaller than PNG.

Which quality value should I use?

0.90 for everyday use, 0.75–0.85 when file size matters, 1.0 only if you will re-edit the image later.
